Centurion Singlespeed
My latest build. Moved to Kentucky-a couple years ago and the hills here killed me riding fixed. Converted my fixed to a Sturmey 3 speed and now much nicer for me. Thing is, I wanted vintage bike singlespeed setup. Purchased this Centurion. Originally planned a geared bike, but singlespeed setup just worked out well.
Anyway, flip flop hub with 2 free wheels that should allow me to get home if I am worn out.
Approx. 21# without the pump and bag.

Pulled out the "Red Hotness" today. Also known as the bike that changed my collections focus last year from mid-range, esoterically cool rigs to rideable collector's pieces. Still need to put the Mavic seatpost/Rolls saddle back on and maybe some white bar tape.

There was a listing on Ebay last month, an aero bike from this era, with Tange aero tubing, brazed by Tsunoda, with full Dura Ace AX, all like this bike, but it had no headbadge or other brand labelling. The listing said that Tsunoda made a bunch of these bikes, which were then imported into the US, and then distributors or dealers would label them. I wonder if this Lotus Super Pro was one of those? Lotus was not a bike manufacturer, after all.

My Classic Rigs & Rides!
Here are a few:
1) Circa 1998 65cm Lennard Zinn (yes, THAT Lennard Zinn) custom made from True Temper tubing, with a Dura-Ace 7400 drivetrain.
2) Circa 2000(?) 64cm custom Titanium Serotta Hors Categorie with David Kirk patented rear “suspension” and Shimano Dura-Ace 8800 9 speed drivetrain.
3) 1988 64cm Medici Pro-Strada with Campagnolo C Record gruppo and replacement fork. Frame will be offered for sale on this Forum soon as I found a 65cm!
4) 1975 64cm California Masi Gran Criterium. Bought from its original owner in 2019. Repaint by Brian Baylis and a custom titanium shaft, aluminum sleeve seatpost with 2 bolt Campagnolo head made by friend as this frame is borderline small for me.
I have 22 bikes in total…
