Instant Box of Crap Pass-a-Round-Robin

Been meaning to do this for a while.
First responder here PMs me their address. I send them a box of crap.
Second responder here PMs the first responder. First responder sends second reponder a box of crap.
ad nauseum
Respond here before you PM. Gotta be strict about the pecking order.
"As recieved" picture is a must.

poke em 08-31-11 09:01 PM

I would like a box of crap. I have plenty of crap to box up and reciprocate. The problem is that I can't send PMs yet.

frenchbikefan 08-31-11 10:02 PM

I am in, I have way too much crap.

sailorbenjamin 08-31-11 10:27 PM

Ok, I got Poke em first. PM sent for Email address. Let me know if you don't get this.
frenchy, can I forward you info to Pokey?

frenchbikefan 08-31-11 10:33 PM

sailorbenjamin 09-03-11 07:05 PM

How about Tuesday? Monday is a holiday in the US.

curbtender 09-03-11 07:24 PM

They'll be closed on Monday (labor) too.

Drillium Dude 09-03-11 07:35 PM

I've had a Box of Crap just waiting for this!

So, would it be Curbtender that I would be PMing/sending to?

I'm a little slow today due to looking at lots of little holes for the past 3 hours.

:notamused:

So you in Curbtender?

Drillium Dude 09-03-11 09:50 PM

PM sent to Curbtender; awaiting response - BTW, its a good BOC I've got here...

DD

Henry III 09-03-11 10:01 PM

I'm in for it also definitely after DD!

frenchbikefan 09-03-11 10:06 PM

hmm somehow I got kicked out of the loop. did you get my info poke em?

poke em 09-03-11 10:19 PM

I did get your info. Frenchbikefan will be the one you need to contact, Drillium Dude!

Drillium Dude 09-04-11 12:41 AM

To facilitate ensuring there's no confusion, I think this is the order of business as it stands:

sailorbenjamin sends to
poke em who sends to
frenchbikefan who sends to
pompiere (if he's in) who sends to
curbtender who sends to
Drillium Dude who sends to
Henry III who sends to
(the next lucky person who gets their groove on)

OP - can you confirm this for us? And, if I may make a suggestion: anyone posting to this thread, please state whether or not you are here to comment or to play. That'll take the guesswork out of it. Thanks!

DD

Pompiere 09-04-11 03:04 AM

I didn't mean to get into the line, I just was commenting on the Post Office being closed Monday.

rhm 09-04-11 06:36 AM

Put me on the list, please. And if I may, I will request old English crap. Like that single Brampton BB cup you have kicking around, for example. Or Brooks saddle with the leather peeled up like an old avocado husk. Or the single black Bluemels Club Special fender you have hanging from the plumbing pipes over your work bench. Hey, no harm in asking, right?

To whom do I send my address?

I was going to watch the thread, but count me in. Let me know which order I end up in. Yes, I have some crap...

Check.

curbtender 09-04-11 09:48 AM

OK, I get it...An 11" X 8.5" X 5.5" flat rate box will show up at your door in a week or two. Take out everything that you want and then fill it with everything you don't want.
So this will take a while to move around.

TimmyT 09-04-11 10:58 AM

I'll do it too. This sounds fun. The pics will be good.

Drillium Dude 09-04-11 12:14 PM

Um, one detail here that's not clear:

Are we putting our own boxes together and sending immediately to the next person, or awaiting the original box to send along once it (finally) reaches us?

If I have a vote, I vote for the former. It could take months to get to the last person on the list the other way :)

DD

balindamood 09-04-11 12:40 PM

I am in and PM'ing TimmyT.

Well, we each did our own boxes last winter so this time I thought it would be fun to try just one box and see how the parts selection evolved with every player. Just about as exciting as mail chess, huh?

Drillium Dude 09-04-11 08:17 PM

^ Oh, okay. Gotcha!

We might need a bigger box...I have a LOT of crap for Henry III!
