2012 De Rosa models
Anyone else see the 'new' model for 2012, a Nuovo Classico? Lugged steel, flat fork crown, but I cant find any info on it. The De Rosa site has a picture, no description. I found a Taiwanese site with a few more pictures, but no info.

Interesting! I wonder what the tubing will be. There's nothing better than classic Italian geometry with newer steel and parts.
|
I like it but no, I have no knowledge of what the tubing might be, maybe that 2009 SL stuff?
|
terrible ! the stem, and the saddle, just kill it.

Lucky man/woman. I never cared for Treks, though I hear they make good bikes. |
Trek makes a lugged steel frame with chromed headlugs and De Rosa geometry? Which model would that be? Is it similar to their "Peterson" model featuring lugs with wing dings and triple chain stays with room for car rims?
|
OFG beat me to it.

...Except for Classic Italian geometry with vintage steel and vintage parts! ;-)
I'll trade you all the SL/531 stuff I come across for MAX and EL OS. |

Pretty sure stems and saddles are personal choices.

I took the daring move of emailing DeRosa for information.
The new Nuovo Classico is a very attractive road bike, and I'll enjoy hearing more about it. |

BBM - I can't view photos at work, but if that's a "Bob" reference, you are my hero.
