Raleigh chain

My 1976 Raliegh Superbe "lost" its chain going through US customs from Canada.

Will any 1/8 " chain suffice as a replacement for the original ?

Any suggestions will be much appreciated.

Thank you.

-I have no doubt there is some "logical" customs explanation for this.

We are talking about an agency of the US gov't.
What does logic have to do with it?:twitchy:

Shame if it was one of the old heavy OEM Raleigh chains. The OEM chain on my 1972 went over 15,000 miles before it stretched to the point of needing replacement, wasn't as lucky with the replacement chains. However any 1/8" chain will fit, even the cheap ones from Big Box stores, might need to buy two seems they are sized for BMX bikes.
