As Roll-Monore-Co posted check Disraeli Gears web site for information of Favorit components. I read through the Favorit pages a few months back, it was pretty interesting. I never imagined how many different countries had manufacturers of components over the years.
Some Czech products were sold in the U.S. during the cold war era. I had a friend that raced CZ motorcycles (Ceske Zavodny), they sold well and were competetive until the mid 70's as were the Jawa Division's speedway and off road bikes. Jawa-Skoda Canada handled them in Canada IIRC.
Nice find, I love the old cottered cranks on these vintage bikes.

I've always liked them, probably not valuable but certainly worthy for the quirky prize. Don't see them a lot, but I'd grab one if the price was right, just because.

It was odd enough for me to be interesting. Strangely, the bike is better quality than it might appear. I think I'll like it.

Not valuable, perhaps, but I do not mind getting three hundred bucks for a close to entry level steed.

Maybe they could sell my 50s English Huffy 10-speed with Benelux for me... though I'm thinking of robbing the deraillers for a 50s Carlton I'm building. Rest of the bike is like 3-speed quality.

My Favorit went to a seller in a large center east of Thunder Bay. My son works part time for the fellow who got my Favorit. Though I cannot confirm it, the bicycle sold for $325.00 a couple of days after reaching the seller's shop.
