Confession...
Two weeks ago, Nashbar had a great deal on GT carbon frame.
I tried to resist, but my mind is weaker than I thought... http://i202.photobucket.com/albums/a...5/IMAG0045.jpg http://i202.photobucket.com/albums/a...5/IMAG0051.jpg ...I beg for leniency. |
Go stand in the corner for the next hour.
Looks nice. I was a friend's house for dinner last night and picked up his Felt B2. Good lord! A bottle of wine weighs more! How do you like it so far? |
No need to feel ashamed, that's a beauty. And just think, in 25 years it'll be classic and vintage too!

Nah....everyone knows it will asplode in 2 years. :) |
Just don't ride it right after or right before you ride your C&V bikes.......so as not to amplify their "geezer tech", comparative sloth(?) and porcine heft.....

I can't say (yet?) the ride is better than my steel bikes, but it is, surely is nice in a different way. Hopefully, the weather here would cooperate this coming weekend, so I can ride it for a good distance.

Leniency. I might let you off for buying a plastic bike, but there's no escaping from my inner spelling Nazi.

I think leniency can be granted but there'll be one of two outcomes:
1) You'll like the plastic, drink the Kool-Aid, and dump your C&V bikes on the market, benefiting the rest of us. 2) You'll realize the error of your ways, sell the plastic built up for more than you paid, and buy something else C&V with the spoils. Is there a third outcome in which the plastic and steel coexist? :) |

Let Loose the Squirrels of War! Time for your lashing with old bushing-ed 5 speed chains!
j/k Pretty bike, nicely built! More pleasing finish than most CF and aluminum jobs. |

http://ruedatropical.com/wp-content/...0/04/bg-c3.jpg Truly, a great fusion of plastic and metal artistry. That'll be my bike when I win the big Lotto this Wednesday. I'll make sure to post full pics of the bike too! :D |
I have a Kuato as my dirty little secret. It totally lacks character and pinache, but it rocks in it's own way.

DVC45, you did fine. I'd buy one, too, if I could afford it.
Hmm, maybe if I sell my bike collection, I could afford it. |
