No, and it doesn't get any C&Ver, either.

I could really go for some cassoulet.

noglider 09-30-11 05:03 PM

I think the whole video has panache.

Did anyone else catch the "Malteni" beer bootle at the dinnertable?

FlatTop 09-30-11 06:04 PM

I'll bet you could fit three bikes inside a 2CV. Just take seats out and load the cycles in front-to-back, not across.
Enjoyed the video, thanks! I admire joie de vivre.

Michael Angelo 09-30-11 06:46 PM

Wonderful.

Believe it or not, I do in fact have a petanque set. A friend of mine who lived in France for years got me into it. Great game.

I got a set when Eyjafjallajökull stranded me in Paris. It was unseasonably warm and my hostel was on a canal, I watched people play it all day. Can't say I have ever played but it was a nice souvenir.

lostarchitect 09-30-11 07:11 PM

Well, if you ever find your way to NYC, we'll have to schedule a game. It's good fun. Especially if you drink pastis while you play.

noglider 09-30-11 07:22 PM

It is. I've played the Italian version, bocce. It's deep.

clubman 09-30-11 07:27 PM

My bikes in this video...except it's the one with the motor. '72 BMW R75. I'm assuming the cameraman rode pillion on it.

That's the type of event we need on this side of the pond.

catmandew52 09-30-11 08:23 PM

Magnifique, mais pour la musique

gioscinelli 09-30-11 08:57 PM

Extrait de film Super! Vous allez aimer ces français avec leurs vins et fromages. Beaucoup de l'histoire du cyclisme!

Cheers,

Mike(gioscinelli)

Great video! Would be wonderful to have something like that here in the States.
