Peugeot tail light

I am trying to restore my wife's childhood Peugeot, and I need to find a replacement tail light or lens. Can anyone help?

TIA!

Ah, that's a Soubitez Catalux. Best bet is to try ebay.fr, and contact any sellers who may be posting them to ask if they will ship internationally. I scored complete NOS Catalux that way. It may be tough to find just the lens-- you might have to look for the entire assembly. But if you can find one in rough shape but with an intact lens, you may be able to score it for not a lot of money.

+1 Additionally, you may think the search "cibie velo" on eBay.fr as it is very similar to the Soubitez taillight.

I have a new never mounted lens I'll sell you. In all honesty I'd buy the lens but I wouldnt install it. Due to the design odds are its going break like the previous lens.

These lights are a little fragile, problem stems from people over torquing the retaining screw and cracking them.

Suppose that once upon a time you could have bought a replacement fairly easily but now they seem to be getting harder and harder to find... sad to think that many were probably just tossed out when folks have torn the fenders off old Pugs.

A long shot (6 years ago), but wondering if you may still have the Soubitez lens. I'm trying to source one for a restoration.
