$50.00 Super Mondia Update.
A while back I posted an early 80's Super Mondia. I got it real cheap. Here are some update pictures. Parts just on the bike for pic's, almost ready for final assembly.

Ugh! $50 for that? You, sir, make me sick.
OK, I'll get over it if you answer a trivia question: it's obviously a "later" model, did they still stamp the serial number on the LH seat stay cap?

Wow - I thought I got a deal when I paid only $50 for this Mondia:

Frame/fork, headset and bottom bracket were included, but still! Very, very nice score!
Please keep us updated as you finish her up.

Mike, I still say you should put Nuovo Record recessed calipers on that beaut. Don't make me sneak over there and put bright white Royal Compe II's on it
Incidentally, I found one of those Universal Mod. 77 calipers floating about at the LBS yesterday. Can get it for you if you want a spare.
The BIBA stem looks nice; definitely complimentary to the build. Better than sticking a run-of-the-mill Cinelli 1A on it.

Damn, it's my size. Keep track of your children- they're liable to be ransomed in exchange for your Mondia.
