I picked up a chrome Ross Mt Mckinley MTB recently, and it has original (therefore 27 years old) an it has Ross Snakeskins on it - aside from being dirty, I like the way they look, and was wondering how I can make them look good again, if at all.

A clean rag and Awesome Orange. I had dirty skinwalls/gumwalls, sprayed them, and wiped. Clean. Worked on my cheap mountain tires and nice, nice road ones all the same.

Tip: If they're skinwalls, wipe with the grain.

Be pretty careful with anything labeled orange or green. The acids in these cleaners are pretty strong and might eat rubber. Just make sure you clean and rinse it off real well.
