1983 Raleigh Racing USA Grand Prix 555sl out of Japan--Original onwer with very recent upgrades to fit me better- I bought this when I was a kid some 28 years ago.(I also have all original parts stored in a box). I put at least 100 miles a week on her for the last 3 months. I have been averaging 19.5 mph on 30 mile rides. This thing is a beatifully fast vintage bike. I do plan to upgrade the wheels very soon due to the rear having a 4mm bent hop spot from an impact years ago. Wondering how much better it will ride once that is gone, I get a vibration also in the 5th gear of the 6 gear cassette maybe because that gear is bent.

Well, I was just coming to post these anyways,
My 1977 Super Grand Prix with a freshly straightened fork, new bars, bar ends and aero levers, pretty sure it'll be black next year with a proper decal set.
Bent fork,

No more bent fork,

My sons old Record,

Which just donated a few choice bits to his new Technium that I just finished, this was pulled out of a ditch about a week and a half ago with a badly tacoed rear wheel and no front.

And my current prime ride, my 1979 Super Grand Prix,

And now for something completely different: Raleigh Space Rider - this was my bike as a kid - my son and I restored it a few years ago; it's been his basic transportation for the past two years (unless it's raining/snowing, then he reverts to his Walgoose BMX beater). Sadly, he's basically outgrown it this year, but he keeps riding it to school and football practice. He claims that he's put 700 miles on it since rebuild.

I have two bikes for this one:
On the left is the Raleigh Delta from 1975, and behind is the Missus' Raleigh Bighorn, which we are unsure of the vintage, but it's probably late 80's possibly early 1990's

1973 Raleigh Super Course, no longer in my collection, but lovingly ridden and commuted upon by a recent C&V convert in my community:

Mid-70's ('74 if I recall corretly) Sprite that I sometimes wish I had kept but which is now being ridden by one of my son's buddies:

My current neighborhood rider:

Lordy, you really want to get into this? I could go on all night. Why don't I just give you the Photobucket link and a few highlights. https://s291.photobucket.com/albums/l...cpZZ1QQtppZZ24
Here's the best bike in the whole wide world. I'm commuting on it these days.

Here's a sign telling riders of modern bikes to watch out for rod brake roadsters crossing the street.

Here's a rod brake roadster about to cross the street.

These are good in case you forget how to do stuff.

This is an innertube.

Just pretty.

This one is for sale (little poser girl not included). I'll be putting it up in the sales thread after I do the dishes.

1976 Competition, with chrome socks, and full French kit. This bike rides nice:

Currently wearing mud guards, and the Challenge P-R tires are a bit delicate, but man are they fast!

1951 Lenton Sports as found:

It's currently in pieces in my cellar, but I should have it built up and riding in another week or two.
