Bar end shifters on a Nashbar Toure
I just bought a mid 80's Nashbar Toure. The bike had straight bars with old Shimano thumb shifters. I'd like to switch back to drops but add bar end shifters. Is it possible to get 15 speed (3X5) bar end shifters? I can't seem to find them.

There are no indexed 5 speed bar end shifters, but you can run friction with any of the modern shimano ones, SunTour power ratchet (the choice bar end for many here), or the diacompe silvers.

+1. The first indexed bar-cons were 6-speed for both Shimano and SunTour.
(Actually, Shimano's were 7-speed, but there was a shim that made made them 6-speed compatible.)
