I've never like yellow bikes...but...

I don't know what it is but I've never liked yellow bikes. Don't know why. Maybe it was the ubiquitous Schwinn Varsity in that bright color that flooded the streets of my youth.
That said, I keep seeing yellow bikes shown here that really impress me. Frank's beautiful Motobecane GR, Aixaix's recently re-painted Cinelli, the cool old Gitane shown in the current thread. I've always thought I didn't like yellow bikes, but I'm changing my tune.

So, please show your yellow bikes here. I could use some more immersion therapy. Thanks.

Probably not quite what you have in mind, but this one's mostly yellow.

I'm having a 1990 Paramount OS powdercoated yellow (RAL 1003) after seeing this bike. My bike will also have a complete Shimano 6400 STI group and grey Velocity Aerohead rims. I just thought this bike looked awesome.

Here's another bike in RAL 1003. Love it!

I have only one yellow bike, a Zeus. I repainted to match a Zeus track I saw once:

Yellow is possibly my favorite bike color - it's a happy, fun color. It makes me smile. The Schwinn Kool Lemon was, for me, the only redeeming feature of the Varsitys. Yellow was the color I most considered after orange when i ordered the Marnati.

I've never owned a yellow bike, but eventually the right one will come along.

Aixaix's recently re-painted Cinelli
That's not no repaint, Rootboy. That is the only paint it has ever worn.

Thanks for calling it out!

OOPS! Major Faux Pas! My apologies Aixaix.
I'm becoming convinced here that my prejudice against yellow bikes is unfounded. Thanks everyone.

Just picked this up: a 1990 Koga Miyata CityLiner (pic from the ad). Nice quality touring frame with canti's. I'm still thinking about how to rebuild it, and leaning towards a drop bar, some new old fenders and losing the rack.
