Let's see those complete @ original C&V's
Please post pics of your complete and original C&V's...........OEM replacement parts are great, but lets see those bikes that have been rebuilt and cleaned up without upgrades and replacement parts. Extra points for original tires, reflectors, dork discs, cloth bar wrap, cables, that have not been replaced but still shine like the Hope diamond.

1978 Super Grand prix.
Can't get any more original than this.

I got it NOS and put it together myself. Even has Raleigh tires and Raleigh Branded Wienmann rims.

Schwinns
Here's two Schwinns I recently completed. A 1971 Breeze (green) and a 1974 Hollywood (blue). Everything is original on the Breeze except for the brake cables and the first section of the rear brake cable housing (a thread of the old cable somehow got stuck in the middle and I could not get it out). Everything is original on the Hollywood except for the front fender (chrome was flaking off in large section...totally toast). Not only are the tires original, so are the inner tubes! I used McGuire's 4-part paint restoration kit.

Lotus Prestige (still kick myself for letting this one go)
I believe its all original components tires I dont know about. Has Lotus branded hoods.

My wife's Terry Gambit. I doubt this bike has 50 miles on it (she still hasnt rode it). Everything original including tires.

Univega Viva Sport Original parts but I dont know about the tires. I left me minus thos rims and the Cyclone Group.

Original Panasonic PT3500 mid clean up with its Rack off. Original Panasonic tires on it.

Schwinn Super Le Tour 12.2 all original except the tires. (another I regret parting with)

Schwinn Varsity Original but the tires and the front reflector, bar tape I believe is original as well.

Original but tires Miyata 610

Peugeot P8 Missing wheel reflectors and original tires. Original saddle is on it.

Trek 400 or 420. The SN says 400 but the parts say 420. Bought it from the original owner that says he bought it that way. Original TREK branded tires were on it. As found.

Cant find my picture of the 84 Fuji DelRay I had, another maybe 50 mile bike.

1976 Empire Professional, in the pre-teardown state I acquired it in last year. Now taken to bits & awaiting restoration. Although not evident in the picture, while grubby & neglected, it is apparently extremely low miles with original tires, etc. Of course it will receive new tires, cable & chain when I rebuild it.
[image function not working for me, I'll add photo when that is fixed]
Edit - see post # 14 for pic.

My 1976 Austro-Daimler "Ultima Superleicht". All original, the very same bike used in the 1976 catalog shoot. Only thing missing is the padded case.

While this bike may not be in a class with the others. It is original except for the seat not rebuilt or refurbished and from the 50's. I got it out of a dumbster a few days ago and only cleaned and fixed the shift cable this afternoon didn't do anything else but put some oil in the oiler holes and on chain. It is only missing the original frame pump and rack. It is basically the way I found it. Rides good but the SA 3 speed is a little clunky.

Fuji America Touring Series V minus the crappy pearl white plastic bar tape and spoke reflectors (I have them). I did change the brake cables/housings, but I matched the original. Also let the guy I got it from keep the original Minoura bottle cages. He wanted them as a memento because the bike belonged to his brother and he had passed on. Everything else is original, including the saddle, spare spokes, tires, etc. etc.

my '78 raleigh pro is pretty much original, I replaced the bartape, cables and housing, and spokes. I also switched the too short SR stem for a longer ttt stem.

I really don't like unlined cable housing so almost all my bikes have new cables and housing. Usually bar tape and tires too unless they are NOS or very unridden. But these are very original.
I believe this '75 Moto Grand Jubile to be original except for the tires, cables and bar tape. Oh and I did take off the dork disk and reflectors, but I still have them.

I believe this '74 Paramount to be original except for bar tape, tires and cables.

'81 Gios Super Record all original except for cables:

'72 Cinelli is very original. I believe even bar tape and cables to be original.

1984 Centurion Turbo. This photo is as delivered (it was an actual barn find, my only one ever.) The story was that it was purchased by the seller's brother, who rode it a couple of times and then hung it up, never to be ridden again - until now. The seller had new bar wrap added to "sexy" it up for me, but otherwise this is all original stuff.

And it's even my size.

Well, tires and bar tape are not original; even the bar and stem, and the seat, had been changed; but it is hard to find a 1950 bike in closer to showroom condition than this Norman Rapide:

I don't have any better pictures handy, but this '89 Miyata 1000LT is all original except the Bar Tape. Its even got the original Miyata Radial Tires. Pedals and Saddle aren't on in this pic but when I traded it away they went with it.

Not quite what you C&V'rs like but here are a couple mid-school (1997 (L) and 1999 (R)) Schwinn BMX bikes fresh out of the box. Neither have been ridden yet.

All original except the saddle in this picture. I've since replaced the tires, tubes and brake pads. I want to get an original Continental saddle for it...

My Raleigh DL-1 is pretty darned stock. It has the DARE grips, Raleigh brander tires AND even an original Raleigh branded tube with a steel schrader valve in the front. The chain is not original, neither is the shifter pulley because the plastic one crumbled.

Check out the original valve and tire:

That's a beautiful bike! Just to avoid confusion (because Lotus is all about confusion) it's most likely a 1983 model given the Violet color, components and Columbus tubing. 1981-82 bikes were only available in Pink and Blue and used Tange Champion tubing. The Violet continued through 1984 and the bike was then offered with Campagnolo Super Record components. The bike in the photo is unique to 1983. The bike originally came with leather laced-on bar wrap to match the saddle.

Very nice examples all!!
Here is my PX-10 pretty much as my big brother purchased new in April '76. Apparently a late '72 or '73 model with LBS updated seat and stem. I have left as original as possible. New tubulars, derailleur cables, and bar wrap over the original decent condition wrap. Everything else disassembled, cleaned and lubed. When the Delrin front derailleur cracked, I replaced both front and rear with the '76 correct Super LJs.
