Cool Exercycle

I love the way this thing sits, it has to be the best looking exercycle ever. Would love to have it set up with a vintage racing saddle and track drops.

About four times what I would pay for it though (if that)

That is cool. It would be neat to set that up as a generator when the power goes out.

I love stuff like that! In fact, I have held off on grabbing a vintage bicycle work stand for some time now, simply because I have so many other projects. Not anymore, I am going to get the stand, paint it up (not too worried about the collectable value here) and use the darn thing. As soon as I bring it home, I will take some pictures for this thread.

Let's see more vintage bicycle related items on this thread.

Thanks for sharing.

Beauty. Trying to figure out how that clutch and drive work. Needs a Brooks B-72.

I'm wondering if it was meant to be something else, pedaling just supplied the power.

I would not be suprised if it was meant to power a sewing machine or some other revolutionary household machine. it certainly is a great looking piece

That reminds me of this mounted grindstone I used to have. It needed some welding, so I wasn't able to use it, but it was a very cool item, like the one in this picture:
