Identify this Raleigh?

3 Attachment(s)
I bought this bike a little while back. The previous owner has powder coated the frame so i don't know the model. The number under the bottom bracket is A14216. 'Raleigh' is embossed on the outside of either seat stay at the top, and it has this Raleigh logo (sprayed over), or something very similar. There is also something coming out of the headtube (pictured). I can't tell what it is because it too has been sprayed over! Any input will be much appreciated.

Wow... any chance you could post some clearer photos? Based on these your bike could be just about anything at all.

The pictures do not allow enough detail to be of any use for identification purposes. Sorry.

Apologies for the poor quality photographs. It was the best I could do. There aren't really any details to be photographed. I was hoping the frame number and overall frame geometry might suffice. Is that not the case? If you could let me know what other details would aid identification, or if identification isn't possible that'd be great.

There aren't really any details to be photographed.
Head tube lugs. Bottom bracket housing. Seat tube lug. Drops, front and back. Any decals indicating model or the bike or tubing type. Component numbers. Seat post size. Bottom bracket width. The list is, actually, extensive and most people need to understand the details to identify make, model and vintage...

Wow, that is a much longer list than I expected! I'll get some better pics up in the next couple of days!

Looking forward to seeing them. The fitting behind the head tube is a pump locator peg for a frame fit pump.

I'm not a Raleigh guy, but for some makes photographing the underside of the BB is just as important as capturing the topside of the BB shell.
