Please help me ID a Paramount

Hi,

Can anyone tell me about a Paramount with the SS# 570C WB 87112?

Thanks

570 = 57cm
C= Fork steerer length or 650C wheels
W = Waterford
B= February
87 = 1987
112 = 112th frame built

I could be wrong but thats how I interpret it......There was some inconsistency as to what the letter following the frame size could be.

Miamijim appears to be correct, down to the uncertainty of exactly what the "C" means. Waterford is the direct descendant of the Paramount line (Richard Schwinn is one of the owners; the Schwinn company basically spun off the Paramount works and sold it to this group not long before the company declared bankruptcy in the 1990s) and the keeper of the Paramount flame. They have an entire section in the Warterford website chock-full of historical Paramount info. Here is the link to the page on how to ID the age of a frame from the serial number:

That's how I interpret it also. Got pix?
