1984 Trek 610
OK it's a TREK 460 I scraped the paint off..... to be certain now up.

Nice bike, but are you sure it's a 1984 610? I bought one of those new, and it did not have dual water bottle mounts, and the fork looks different. Yours has obviously been repainted, but with that low lighting I can't see much detail.

I think it was 85 when the went to mostly braze-on shifter bosses, and I also think 84 was the last year the 610 was produced then they replaced it with the 600 in 85.

I think you're right about the shifters, but those are clamp-on not braze-on. So this bike is not later than 1984.
I wonder what the S/N is? |
