Love when this happens :)
Sometimes when I roll up to the shop on Tuesday to start the week, treasures block the door...

Nishiki International, Schwinn Voyager(?) and some nice waterproof panniers.
Generous people are lovely. I may treat myself and bring the Nishiki back to life today...

Very nice.
I went to your website. Do you have an email address? I am looking for a few ... "esoteric" parts.
I live car free in Idaho.

College school year ends, and kids don't want/need to take their 'campus' bikes with them. Great time to score some sweet deals!!!

I'm most excited by the tiny Schwinn but the seat post is seized. Clamped the bike by the post upside down with the st full of BP blaster.
I'll crank on it with some volunteers today. Back to life zombie Schwinn, I command ye!
I do like the Nishiki too tho. Problem is every old road bike we get is a 23" or bigger. Need variety for the smaller humans.

Old Nishiki is now a 27" × 1 3/8" ****** battle bike!! Those Bloodhounds look tough.
Tiny knobs, micro ratchet stem shifters, 1 to 1 hill gear (30t ring up front and out back), KB Japanese rando bars, this goofball is dope .

Turns out the Schwinner is a Schwinn Voyageur SP - with the one year and done Suntour Superbe Tech rd which, not surprisingly, seems to have exploded and durn near ruined the 40 spoke rear wheel.
That bike is BEAUTIFUL. One of our favorite volunteers spent a lot of time cursing at it today. Gonna have a weird XO-1 style cockpit bc it was lying around and seemed appropriate. Pics of that one soon...
