Split personality Mikkelsen done!
Finally got this frame built up so I can see how it rides, and yes these are all the same bike. The model is a "hardball", and I have no idea what it is built with, likely Columbus or Dedacci as he seemed to favor them a lot.

That's the coolest thing I've ever seen. Have you considered putting this saddle on it?

Ride update. After commuting on this thing for a week, it may just be moving to the front of the pack as far as ride time, no flex what so ever from the rear triangle (both my Colnago and Somec wag there tail if I stand and mash), no hands all day stability and a pretty good ride even with the cheep wheels and hard tires. I think it will be magnificent with some better wheels and tires.
and there is room for 28's or shorty fenders (maybe both)!!! It is also better constructed than any other I have owned or even held for that matter.

If you are ever in my area, I would be honored to share some nice IPA'a over it.
I rode it to my LBS today to pick up a couple of things, and the owner who is usually pretty jaded when it comes to vintage steel (yawn ed over my Colnago) told me in no uncertain terms to keep this one.

I take it this is paint and not powdercoating, right? Bernie used to send all his paint jobs to D&D in San Lorenzo (and the PC jobs to Maas in Hayward), so that's probably who's responsible for applying this, but might be a customer's concept. Really nice frame, Bernie can really do some fine work.

Sometimes, I have thoughts of growing a beard on one side of my face.

I just replaced my work tool box, and had a few unexpected expenses. I also prefer the ride of my Colnago. It may stay if my track bike and or my old tool box sell first.
