hercules...?anything special?

ran across a fella who has an 70s hercules to get rid of - i havent seen a pic and when i check prices on the bay - they seem sorta all over

was there anything special about this brand
or are they mostly ol british 3 speed putoowee

By the 1970's they were owned by Raleigh and were Raleigh Clones. Still a decent bike in their own right.

Well I've got a basement full of old British putoowee. I think they're great. I can sell them for about $100 around here if they're clean and working right. The 23" frames are a little more desirable.
