Bellini road bikes. Anyone familiar with the make?

Anyone know anything about Bellini bikes? I noticed this one on the Montreal craigslist-equivalent kijiji (much more-used, especially by francophones in Quebec). Looks like a decent bike, chainstay chromed on the drive-side. Falck 'tubi trafilati' tubing as per decal on the seat tube.

Ofmega hardware (this is literally what the ad says in French, 'quincallerie', probably referring to cranks, gearing) and 'Cyclo Man Starling' handlebars, Nisi rims, Universal ('mod. 1.25') brakes. Funky-looking shifters. I tried a few searches, and come up pretty much blank on this make. Seems like the Falck tubing is likely decent, and the components look to be nothing to scoff at.

I'm not going to buy a bike that's 3 or 4 inches too small, but my curiosity is piqued (Any connection w/racer Gianciarlo? Why so little info?)...

more pics on the ad linked above, but here's the drive-side...

I don't know, but it's got matching Ofmega Mistral derailleurs and shifters. I always thought they looked very cool, even though the shifting wasn't all that hot. I miss my pink one...

Definitely funky looking shifters. No one else even heard of Bellini?

I tried a few more google combinations: got my own post here, plus one other classified ad for a similar bike as the only obviously relevant results...plus this:

Suggests that the bike for sale (on that site) was made by the racer, Giancarlo Bellini; bike looks mid- or high-end.

And this German site list a range of 'Bellini' low-end contemporary cruiser bikes...maybe another company, or another case of an old name bought out to label mass-manufactured product?

A bit of Googling turned this up.
