That is one fine bike. And the one occasion when the use of "rare" is accurate.

Glad it's too big for the little lady and too small for me!

You might want to post it in the mixte thread. Shame we can't download the photos for posterity.

I knew they existed from some catalogue scans, but never saw one for sale. It would make a nie companion for my super record, but it is unfortunately not the right size.

I don't think the price is too ridiculous. More than I'd pay, but not as bad as other bikes on eBay.

that is very nice looking and very tempting but 900+ 500EX?

at the risk of hijacking your thread; how can this seller post this

ALAN road bike for GIRL - Damen Woman Lady - alloy tubing no Colnago Campagnolo

he is obviously using Campi and Colnago as keywords.

years ago whaen I tried to sell a pair of 600 EX brakes I got booted for using something like "Not Ultegra" as a keyword even though it was an acurate part of the discription?

I don't want to think of how whippy that will be in comparison to a men's ALAN, but I have to say that it's infinitely more interesting than the usual diamond-frame ALAN.

I remember seeing a frame on Ebay a couple of years ago. Here is a link to an Alan brochure that shows the frame along with other cool stuff including alu and carbon MTB frames:
