Craigslist Colnago Score

I picked up this Master this morning. She's a little roughed up but no dents or rust and everything works. Any guesses as to which campy 8 speed group, frame tubing and year ?

It's a 53x54 sadly. 54x54 is usually as small as I can go but we'll see.

$300 and local pickup

Seriously, that was under $300 on Seattle's CL? The end must be near. I never find anything approaching that kind of deal on the Skagit County CL. Guess I'll stick to the BF For Sale/Trade thread.

Nice score!

I haven't actually had a chance to ride it yet. It didn't come with pedals so i just grabbed it and ran. I will ride it tomorrow and let you guys know.

I sincerely doubt that its going to fit since there is a huge bar-saddle drop.

Not fare. Or. You have great bike karma. Can I be first in line to buy it if it doesn't fit.

Sold by the angry girlfriend/wife who was seeking revenge.
Or, got punctured by the shift cable end.
Components are a bit of a mix of eras, Corsa Record crank, and the Carbon bodied brake / shift levers, very early ergos were black finished aluminum.

Nice. You sure that top tube is not bent/dented? I'm seeing damage but maybe it's the pics.

There is a spot on the top tube that isn't completely flush with the surface its on. There is a really slight bulge. It's hard to really see what happened since the tubes are diamond shaped but the imperfection is so slight it doesn't bother me.

I think Colnago went to a straight fork in 1990.

You can email Colnago (go to the Colnago.com website for a link) with the serial number and they may be able to provide some details.

$275?

I hate you.

Best,

Lee
