1965 Royal Enfield Revelations x3. C & V Small wheelers thread.... Maybe.
If you have a 'classic small wheeler' where do you go on here on BF? Folders? Not specific enough IMHO. Heads up moderators: )
My current small wheeler machines are rarish Royal Enfield Revelations. Everybody knows about the Raleigh 20s, Dawes Kingpins etc. but there are many other 20s, and smaller, with good credentials. Moulton, Brompton, Raleigh etc. etc.
As well as Royal Enfields.
This Christmas Day post is about Royal Enfield Revelations.
I had 3 here last week and pictures are below. 2 are mine but a friend has another. We thought it cool to grab the 3 together: ) Must be unique online...
These are rare 20s and three together is quite a feat.
All 3 speed Sturmey Archer gears and with a long wheelbase frame and maximum adjustments for seat height and bars make these the universal small wheelers IMHO. Only made between mid 1965 and end of 1966 they are small in number but cool in spec. And ridability.
Seasons greetings all from UK: )

somehow I don't think we would get enough traffic for a c&v specific small wheeler forum.
Those are pretty neat. It looks like all three have dynohubs, but I don't see any lights

Maybe we can do a long running thread like the For the Love of English 3 Speeds?
I currently have 7 folder/small wheeled bikes.
1970's Twenties 2 of those
1982 Raleigh Shopper
1968 Raleigh Compact RSW
1967 Columbia Commuter II
19?? Rixie
19?? Atala
The last two are recent acquisitions and I haven't had time to really dig into them.
Need to get them all together for a group shot one of these days.

I like 'em!
I like how they aren't folders, and the neat frame gussets all around.
They look speedy.

OK, this is my old thread from 2011. I just discover how to log into it again: ) I gave up for a while....
My original pics are not connecting so I will add new pics to the 'For the love of English 3 speeds' thread & see how it goes.[IMG][/IMG]
This one, plus many more since.
Aaron check it; )
Also recently got a very nice 1955 Humber Clipper, (Quite rare Raleigh Lenton Sports variant) & a couple of Royal Enfield Superlights from 1955/60, which are 3/4 speed, & appropriate for the Love of English 3 speeds thread.
As a taster I show my Royal Enfield Revelation with a coaster rear wheel in 22" rims:

I think they are interesting: )
