I had a James a couple of years ago. Mine wasn't a Raleigh, though. It had the Herculese or early Phillips style fenders and a kickstand plate and I think it had a plate for the rear brake bridge but I'd have to look up the pictures. That'll have to wait. I posted them a while ago. I think it had a '58 hub.

Ah yes, here she is. I was wrong about the fenders. I might be wrong about the date, too. There have been a few bikes of this nature in the basement over the years.

ilikebikes, that cleaned up very nicely, though I suppose it didn't need a ton of work to start with based on the before pictures you posted. Have you ridden it and, if so, how do you like it?
