Looking for Bianchi Stem

I'm totally redoing a Bianchi Brava I bought this past summer, and would love to have a stem like this. Anyone know where I might be able to find one?

I suggest you triple check your oldest local shops, then start combing ebay. I believe they were TTT stems and used in the earl to mid eighties. the clamp dia is likely 26.0 so Cinelli bars would not work. also along with finding one come the issue of finding the correct size or settling for one close

what year is your Brava?

I believe it to be an 88-89 based on a convo you and I had a few months back

Here is a pic as a refresher.

The yellow paint is full of cracks. So I'm going to get it powder coated in something as close to celeste as I can get. Will probably put a Blue brooks colt or blue B17 on it along with blue cable housings and tape. Not sure if I'll put some tires with blue trim or paselas on there.

I was thinking about ordering these decals but getting him/her to substitute the tube stickers for the proper formula two ones. I just won't put the superleggera sticker on it.

I was also thinking of converting to 7 spd brifters, but not sure yet.

Wow, another late 80's Brava. Not that it matters much but for possible reference here is one I just finished. The frame seller claimed it was an '89 and the serial number agrees. This stem and bar are SR, found at a local bike co-op. The paint is as I received it.

To judge from the few-miles test run I did just before this pic it's a very quick machine! FWIW, 24.4lbs as shown.

Edit: I meant to ask - Will powdercoating be heavier than paint?

Not sure, but it's the only guy I know of locally who does frames and the price is right. Weight isn't a big deal for me anyway. What components are on that? Mine has 6spd 105.

The headset is a 105 and came with the frame. The rest are things I'd had or gathered for this build, some from a local bike guy, some from ebay, some from Harris Cyclery (both new and used). The wheels are Mavic MA40 rims, Campy NR hubs (the skewers are newer), 32 DT db spokes. Derailleurs early Cyclone, lever are Weinmann, calipers are DP Tektro and boy do they work! Crank is a Sugino 700 (XD700 I think they call it), 48/34, 165mm arms. Freewheel is a new Shimano 6-speed, the chain a PC-870. Stem and bar are SR, seat post is a Gipiemme (26.6mm), saddle is the WTB Speed V. Pedals and clips are MKS Sylvan, and the straps are Christophe of course. The pump is a Topeak. The bottle cages are Cat-Eye plastic (nylon?).

And I'm sure that's more information than you wanted. (But I'm proud of the result! )
