Are there any Raleigh Experts here?

I was given a Raleigh while in Houston this past week and was wonder if it's worth doing anything with. It looks like it may have all of the original componets. The paint is in very good condition. The frame is a combination of aluminum and steel.

Raleigh - PRE Technium - Serial # R800880059 02

Crank - SAHAE SA
Shifter - SUNTOUR
Brakes - DIA-COMPE
Handlebars - ITM MOD. MONDIAL
Tires - SECA 700 x 23 FPS 125 psi

I am no Raleigh expert but I can tell you it is a late '80s early '90s lower end model

if someone gave it to you it is certainly worth cleaning up and riding or reseling in the spring

Hmmm I'm no raleigh expert, and it falls on the two new side of the ones I know. Sorry, but it does appear to be my size

I have a '89 Technium 400. My wheels are 27", it has non-aero brake levers, and stem shifters, but otherwise it looks about the same. I know the RD is the same Suntour 3040. If I remember correctly 3040 was the 2nd lowest of the Suntour lineup that year. They are not worth much as far as notoriety or collecting or speed, but as functional transportation I have been happy. It seems to be pretty strong for its weight. It is a stiff ride since it is aluminum after all.

No expert-but I sold a 91 composit pro model (anodized triangle) for 175-came back up on cl for 300. Asking prices have really inflated around here.
