False. You can have a lot of bling without chrome lugs.

The frame has nearly all the shiny content, and the "blingy" components are all black, of all things (carbon fiber and Dura-Ace). It's a total sled.

What brand/model is your seatpack? Looks like it may have two separate compartments - I like!

Its a Bontrager "Pro Seat Pack". The much older, bigger version. Just one compartment, 3 inner side pockets, and a pump band underneath...It looks weird because I crushed/bent the top support piece when I over tightened it one day, so when it isn't full it loses its shape

More Pinarello bling. Chrome fork, chainstays and seatstays. Polished alloy rims. The red paint and tires aren't the most subtle either. Campagnolo Chorus with carbon fiber levers and derailleur bits.

Thanks, @Kilroy1988. Since taking those photos above, I installed an Omas Ti BB and built a new set of lightweight wheels with Hi-E hubs and Super Champion Record du Monde rims. As it sits now, it's about 17.7 lbs iirc. Ultimately I'd love to find a reasonably priced CLB Pro brakeset and weight weenie freewheel then I'll consider it done.

When my daughter was about 8 or 9, I found an even tinier pink Schwinn Caliente with 24" wheels for her. She got the same reaction whenever we went riding.

Very awesome! That's an admirable weight - I must ask how much that stem weighs and what model it is? Looks like quite a chunk no matter what material. Though, for the bling factor, it's hard to beat!

I bet lol They're cute little bikes and Schwinn used some great pinks over the years. We've had one on our CL for awhile, assuming it's still there, and it always catches my eye.

Thanks. The stem is a 3ttt Record Regolabile. It's listed weight is 340g, so it's no lightweight, but it's not quite as heavy as it looks (for comparison, it's about 40g-50g more than a Cinelli 1R, or ~80g heavier than a 3ttt Record)
