Older Surly Monocog

I picked up an older Redline Monocog frameset at a swap meet last weekend and was pretty excited about building it up until I realized it has an odd dropout spacing of about 116mm. Thing is, I've got a 135mm flip/flop Surly wheelset I had hoped to use on it. What are my options? Is it feasible to coldset it? Is there a decent rear wheel or hub available for an older Monocog? Were the original Monocogs spec'd differently?

I cross posted in MTB and SS/FG but being an early version of the Monocog I was hoping someone here might know.

You could probably get by with using a standard fixie 120mm flip flop wheelset, like eighth-inch julian or something from bikeisland. You'll need to find a rim wide enough to work with MTB size tires though. I wouldn't coldset the frame that far, but that's just me.

Update..............got my answer from mihlbach in SS/FG. Apparently they were spaced 110mm (BMX spacing) up until 2004 and went to 135mm in 2005
