Free to a Good Home,

The Deal:

I have the following items free to a good home. I'd like to see them go somewhere they'll get used and ridden. Not into a trash bin. Not a sale, I just need some good Karma in return. First one available to collect has them.

The Catch:

They must be collected within the next 48 hours from a location to be agreed in the general College Park area of Atlanta, GA. You tell me when you or your representative can be here and I'll let you know where I'll be at the time. Sorry guys, NO SHIPPING, so don't even ask.

The List:

1-Super Mondia frame with components. ST 23.5" C-C, TT 23" C-C, Reynolds 531, campy dropouts, Campy headset, Edco Comp BB, Galli Ft and Rr Der., calipers, levers and pedals, Laprade post.(see photo)

1- Campy Strada Cranks, 170mm, 50/42, good shape, but, missing one chainring bolt, out ring not campy.

1-Campy veloce BB, don't remember the numbers on it.

1-Biani Grizzly Frame- the original, early model, 22.5" ST, 23.5" TT, w headset. Also included but not period correct, stem, bars, cranks and Rr der.

Hope to find someone to whom these items are valuable.

That would hardly be a "home", much less a "good" one. I'm hoping to find a forum member who might actually appreciate the stuff and provide some decent forum traffic by documenting their journey of getting it back on the road. I'd love to see photos of them putting it back in action. Unfortunately, it's too small for me and too large for Mrs. Fred, or this deal wouldn't exist.

I'll save you all the photos of what I'm "not" giving away. The '84 vintage Eddy with complete Record and SR, including 180 cranks, Cinelli stem and bars, etc. Ahhh, I've been reunited with it at last.

Now, where's the deserving soul for the Mondia? It really does look like it would build up into sweet ride.

see listed measurements 22.5 seattube 23.5 toptube. It's pretty large, but, not large enough for me to worry with. I'm roughly 6'4"-5".

I'm in Little Rock, AR, so am I the closest so far? I'd love to have this stuff, especially considering what I do with bikes.

Wow - too bad it is one size too big for me. I've been looking to get my hands on a 531 frame and my sister probably could have picked it up for me. Very generous Fred.

I would love the road bike frame and parts. As a former employee of the airline based in Atlanta with full flight benefits I may have to fly down from Minnesota and pick them up.

If forum member Michael Angelo only knew - he has a nearly identical example in black.

That said, it's a very generous offer; quite kind of you. Best wishes to its new owner (and enjoy your new-found bike karma).

Well, I wish I was. I'd love the Mondia.

WOW, this might be a real opportunity to get a Mondia! One I could really put an IGH onto. And many of you folks here know I'm not afraid to travel to get bikes!

I'm crying....I live in Marietta but I'm in Valdosta right now and headed to Savannah tomorrow for work.
I'll be coming back around 2pm friday and could pick up if not gone. That Super Mondia frame is right on the spot for me.

Love to have the cranks at least for one of my projects. Frames would take me a while to get built.

Any chance you would hold the Rear Derailleur?
