Late 80s Bottecchia Headbadge
I'm in the process of restoring a late 80's Bottecchia that I found at the local tip. It is a cromor frame that was blasted and painted all black at somestage. Unfortunately, they also blasted the headbadge.
I'm just sorting out paint and most of the parts are arriving but i need to sort the head badge.
So I was wondering if there is anyone out there with a spare head tube badge that they might be willing to part with.
I'll take some pics of the bike and put her up also as a build up thread once i get started.
Cheers

SHould have posted this pic to show the extent of the damage. I carefully checked it before stripping to see if there was any original paint left, but it was all gone.

You might be able to have a decal guy make a decal version of the metal badge. Contact velocals or similar.

Utedeej, they show up on eBay now and then. You might have to be patient but set up a search on eBay for a Bottecchia head badge and it will turn up.
