Coming next week. Photos of a 1974 (I think) 24 inch frame Blue Supersport. Great paint shape. Mostly original parts. Cant wait to start polishing it up.

Nothing like adding another Schwinn to the stable, especially one in Opaque Blue (it sounds really cool when you say it out loud)!

Yes Opaque Blue is cool and someone said it was rare. Picking it up on Friday. Will post pics this weekend pre-cleaned up.

I wouldn't call it rare since Opaque Blue SS, Sports Tourers, and Continentals show up on ebay regularly. I've also seen a fair number of Paramounts in OB.
But the opaque colors are unique to Schwinn bikes in the early '70s. When the paint is still in good condition, they clean and polish very nicely and look amazing in person. Most pictures on the internet do not capture the subtle vividness of these colors. I've cleaned and restored several Kool Lemon Varsities. The before and after is simply amazing.

Pastor..I agree. This bike looked amazing in the store and I dont think they did a good job even polishing it up yet. I am going to do that when I get home with it. When I take a picture of all my old schwinns its going to look like candy stripes..My green supersport, blue sports tourer, orange world voyaguer and my red paramount..its like candy.
