Cheap set of 700c wheels compatible with a 5/6/7 freewheel?

I'm looking for a new, cheap set of 700c wheels that are compatible with a 5/6/7 freewheel for an old Centurion Ironman bike I am working on. Seems like everything I find is the new freehub design, or the spacing is 135MM+ and my dropouts are 125MM. I know I can squeeze a 130MM in there.

I'd be willing to buy used if it's a good deal, otherwise I'd like to find some new wheels somewhere for <$100 if possible. They will be used for recreation and basic, short commuting trips. I prefer black, but I am not picky.

Ideas?

Niagra has them too........in my limited experience with these cheaper wheels, you will need to true them up a bit......... http://www.niagaracycle.com/product_...ucts_id=436537

+1 have found that when ordering wheels online you will likely need to properly tension and true the wheels. A lot of the makers consider final true to be dealer prep work so if you buy a cheap set plan on having to true and maybe correctly dish the rear wheel.

Not sure if these will work for the OP I'm pretty sure the outer cog wont quit clear everything with most cassetes. But a very good price on wheelset htanks for the info I have been looking for a inexpensive new wheelset for one of my bikes.

That is a very good price.

Freewheel, not freehub. But nice price and rim on those. Definitely caught my eye.

No idea about the site, but front for $46 rear for $49

I bought Weinman AX25 through Amazon. Niagara fullfilled it but Amazon only charged 13 bucks for shipping as opposed to Niagara's 50 bucks for shipping. It was $23 for front and $25 bucks for rear. Cheap enough for you?

I keep seeing complaints about the time Niagra takes to ship.....any personal experiences?

Also, the black ones that were posted that are 130MM are 8/9/10, not 5/6/7.

Why don't you go for used set? You can get something that is WAY nicer than what you will find online. Most of that stuff is generic cheap stuff.

just to be clear, yes these take a cassette and not a fw. you can run a 7 speed cassette easily if needed, but i don't think it matters for the OP.

yes you would need a cassette, but you can get one (ramped) for $10.

i was just posting it as another option.

I can't find any reasonably priced used ones on ebay, and there is only 1 set on CL and they are a freehub w/ an 8 speed cassette.

I had a minor disagreement with my very first Niagara order (I think it was through Amazon). I complained by email and they resolved the issue promptly, so I won't go into detail.
Ever since, they seem to have bent over backward to be prompt.
