First up you need to get off these forums, or you will see pictures that will make you Think no I'm not that bad.
Why it is ok to have 25 perfectly working high end bikes in my parents attic?
I consider it an investment, and plan to sell them off in time but friends think I am crazy.
having other hobbies helps slow this one down, but I blame these forums the most.

so many boxes, waiting for the right frames to turn up.
To stop the bike falling over the rear wheel has a homemade slot to roll into.
To get the bikes in and out, both wheels off and seat post out. Its a struggle.
This attic looks wonderful, it looks like you dont have to crawl everywhere too!

Here's your problem...space and time.
You have too much inventory...if your parents go empty nest and get a condo, or if something happens to the house (the ifs are endless), you have a ton of bikes that will take a long time to sell and which will eat up space and storage costs if/when something goes wrong. Having 25 old bikes with fluctuating values isn't an investment...it's not liquid enough to be an investment. It's a hobby.
