Fleece bay blocking HTML/Flickr pictures?
I think fleece bay is now blocking my flickr pics. When I view them on the computer used to generate the listing, no problem. Any other computer, they are not viewable. I double checked my flickr HTML pics on Craigslist, they are still working fine.
Anyone else having this problem? I figure I am going to try a couple of other hosting sites. I would rather not pay fleece bay more to host small pics, when I was getting full sized pics imbedded into my ads.

I don't think they are I have a few auctions up now with embedded pictures, but I usually use imageshack for my photos though since there's a tool to bulk upload and get links for several images at once.
Maybe it's a permissions issue and it's only showing up on your computer because they're set to private and you're logged in there? Try visiting one of the direct image urls from the other computer to see if you can see it directly on flickr outside of ebay.

I don't think they are, but I think there is now a maximum number of pics you can insert via HTML. More than that max and there's a $.15 fee.

Mine were blocked too, and I didnt realize until there was only one day left in the auction. MAJOR BOO to that. Craigslist works fine. After googling it looks like maybe flickr is to blame, not ebay. I found a thread on a flickr support forum mentioning that ebay wasnt allowed per the TOS of flickr, even with a paid account. (I didnt go and double check, so here's another example of me neglecting to read the fine print, ha!)
I switched to picasa for the time being, but they only allow img src-ing of 800x600 resolution which isnt enough for me. Will be watching this thread for suggestions. I dont mind paying for image hosting, but I probably wont be renewing flickr if I cant use it everywhere.

I noticed this recently, too. My embedded Flickr photos show up intermittently in Firefox, but I always see them when I use Safari.

Dont't know about Flicker but photobucket seems to be fine. I know ebay does limit the size of imbeded images and img pics try downsizing your pics to 800x.

Well, I opened a photobucket account, and it is working fine. The flickr pics are still not working. FWIW: I am using firefox, they also do not show up on my iPad (Safari). As far as size, I always reduce my pics to document size, still plenty good, but cuts the size by 90% (from 2+ mb, to 200kb+/-). I can't tell the difference on my computer.
I've been using flickr for several years now with ebay, probably thousands of pics over that time.
