I'd bring the Raleigh but I'm not sure I'm up for 30 miles of 14-17MPH on it...

If you're coming out for the Swap, I'd like to meet up, since I live in Ann Arbor. Show you the food, LBSs, brews, and maybe some nice rides.

Ok, so the ride is Saturday and the Swap is Sunday. Should be able to do both. It takes about 5 hours to drive from Chicago to Ann Arbor. If y'all are going to be out Volo way for the tacos, it's maybe another 45 minutes.

I may be able to bring family members and I'm bugging a local lurking member about it too.

My wife is planning on coming along. She's got a lot of endurance (and strength), and is generally faster than me after about mile 35. Good thing that this is a 30 mile ride!

What's everybody planning on riding? For me, it will depend on what projects i can get completed by then....

I'm planning on being there on the Bianchi. Maybe someone will offer some suggestions as to why both derailleurs are so hard to shift.

Looking forward to it.

I'll be riding whatever fits in the car.

That might be the 12 year old's unicycle if I have more than 5 soccer players in tow.

Probably the Ciocc - if not, the Battaglin.

Either my Mondonico with 27 mm tubulars, my Trek 610, my UO-8 (a continuing project), or my new 650b Terraferma build - not vintage, but definitely classic. If Mrs Road Fan comes with me, she'll be on a 1997 Georgeanna Terry Classic with Brain tubing, Wilier-built frame, and Campy Ergo 8-speed.

I plan on riding a bike, self-propelled, two wheel variety.

But seriously, maybe the new Follis, or something else that I may acquire between now and then.

The only bike I have that would qualify as vintage is my Schwinn Japanamount. So, that's what I am ridding.
Though, there is this clean Panasonic DX3000 in CL for $220 right now. Hmnn....

If I actually show up, I'll be on an '83 Miyata 610 or a Fuji Royale. No wait, maybe I'll have the RB-1 finished by then, or perhaps the Trek 600 Series...........

I would love to come but I've already planned a weekend at Keylime Cove for some water entertainment.

Last year was a fun and windy ride. Good luck!

What time's the ride? There's also a swap meet in Arlington Heights from 10:00 to 4:00. Anyone been to this swap before? Is it worthwhile?
