Nice bike! But I thought stainless, as my Speedwell, my only point of reference for ti, has a brownish glow to it, and the welds are also finished quite differently:

Pretty much finished...
...except for final trim of the steer tube. Want to make sure the length is correct before taking that last step.
Build is D-A 7700 (one of my younger ones), Sugino square taper compact crank w/ an FSA 50 tooth big ring and Shimano UN55 BB, Jagwire cables, Reynolds Ouzo Pro fork with Deda 100mm/-8 stem, CK headset and SR Champion 38 drops, Fizik Arione 'test' saddle, Shimano 600 aero seatpost, 12/27 cassette on Shimano 5501 hubs laced to AeroHead rims & Michelin Pro3's.
Going out for a shakedown run now!

Only the special ones, Robbie. Only the special ones.
Built up weight, as it sits with the pedals, 19 pounds. I could drop another pound or two with a carbon seatpost and TRP960 calipers (what it came with).
But then it would be less shiny.
Shakedown run was perfect- not a single missed shift. Very solid feeling. My first experience with a carbon fork.

that's one sweet machine.
how do you like the tilt adjusting mechanism on that post? my thoughts are: it works and is unobtrusive but kinda wonky.
and i love the riding characteristics of ti with a carbon fork.

It is a little odd, but the nice thing is that you can swap saddles without having to re-set the tilt.

Nice! The orange/black/shiny metal combo turned out really neat. I'm impressed.

Thanks. I really went back and forth between red, white and orange. I like the finished product, though...and it rides like a dream!

Doc, for someone like me that is pretty committed to English steel, this thing really got my attention! You, dear sir, are an artist! Now if you'd only start rockin' these baby's with IGH, you might just get me hooked!

Hey Dallas, off topic, but if you're interested, the track at Frederick Hobby Towen USA is hosting a Tamiya Championship Series regional event this weekend. Practice and club racing all day Saturday, then the main event on Sunday. I'm running two classes & last year was on the podium for both. Should be a lot of people there from out of town and some interesting competition.
