Whatever it is Doc, you have our attention! I'm having a hard time telling if the frame is chromed or if it is something else.

It's not chrome, it's polished. It's not a mixte. It was built by hand in the USA.

Looks more like stainless steel, the brushed look and it's not gray enough to be Ti

So that's what polished titanium can look like? The orange is going to look so nice up against that. Now put it together so we can ogle it!

This looks hot! And as coveted as any other Ti road frame from Europe and America.

Wow, you guys are good! I thought I might be able to spread this out over a few days as the remaining parts arrived, but there you have it.
It's a '98 GT titanium Edge with the polished finish. As you've seen in the pics, it'll have a nice low mileage D-A 7700 setup with a Sugino compact crank and Reynolds Ouzo carbon fork.
Full pics to be posted when the build proceeds in a couple of days.
Bike has an interesting story: hand built in the Longmont, CO shop and owned by a former GT sales manager since new, who rode it regularly but kept it in pristine condition, including the decals.

The major clue for me is the bullet ends on the stays -- usually a Litespeed signature and I'm guessing Litespeed built. Really a beautiful and the high polish is a big bonus. Litespeed under Lynskey charged an addition $2,000 for that option.

Not a Litespeed or Merlin build- this was made in the GT shop in Longmont, CO. Pretty legendary group of builders (including Mark Nobilette and Yamaguchi for a while) and some gorgeous stuff came out of there, not to mention US Olympic team bikes in the 90's.
I've heard that at various times some GT titanium frames were made in CA and also overseas, but not this one.
This one will be my performance bike- fast club rides and the like.
