looks like a model 80 or a variation of it: 86 BCD?

kc0yef 03-08-12 11:19 PM

Yes it measures 50.3mm so I believe it is an 86bcd

It's a SL 80, which is similar to the SL99 but with smooth non-fluted or engraved crank arms. Maybe it can be used as a triple, like the 99, due to the small bcd. I prefer the looks of the 99.

Are you planning on using those chain rings? They don't look that great, in particular the small one. :(

I just went through this on a set of Stronglight 93's and 122 BCD doubles.

no exactly so I am looking for some 86bcd rings

I have a couple of sets of those rings, still on cranks but I believe that I have an orphan set also. I just looked at one set and the teeth are not much worn.
