Yeah, the box sure has seen its share of twists and turns during its 3+ year run. I figured I'd ask after the status when I noticed the thread had dropped back to something like page 8
We're back on point; carry on!

The crap landed Friday I believe, and well.. Bici is definitely an artist. I'm going to break a rule or two with this post but I cleared this with DD ahead of time, and he agreed that he wanted you all to (sort of) see the contents too.
Now for the box itself!
There's the art... but I found this part most impressive. The packing.. I can only assume Bici packed it all since the cat incident? But it was pretty amazing.
Here's my haul, for a weird miyata project...
Off to the post office..
And lastly... back from the post office with a well earned cold one.

I'm not going to ask (yet) to be added to the BOC list becasue I frankly don't have much to contribute; however I am really enjoying reading/looking at the posts. I went back to the beginning and I'm up to page 52.
@DrilliumDude: You had a link the other day that took me to your Flickr account and I spent over an hour looking at the great pictures you have on it. My wife had to tell me twice that dinner was ready.

Missed the boat over the past couple days regarding this thread. I did get a sneak-preview of the box-art on my phone, but even so my connectivity there sux in my new, apparently-out-in-the-boonies location. I also found out the 4G tower that serves me is going through modernization not expected to be completed until February 2016.
See ya, T-Mobile
Glad to see the remainder of the detailed pics! Bici - you are an artist with supreme talent! Chris - thanks for sharing with us all. All that work...it would be a shame not to share it with everyone here, you know? Thanks again, and it was really great to finally jabber on the phone with you recently after all our mutual work on this 3+ year old project
I'll get page one updated today. Oh, and Pemetic2006: what better testimonial to my Flickr page than ignoring the dinner bell twice! Glad you enjoyed it, thanks

USPS Large Flat Rate. I think it's about $16 if you purchase postage online. A buck or two more if you go to the post office counter.

Sorry for the delay, I am next and out of town for a week. I didn't anticipate the box moving so quickly. How any lashes with a flat tubular is that, DD?

I am trying to keep up with the list on the first post with sent/receive dates, but of course I can't do that without a little help from my friends
mtnbke: you've been added - welcome!

See above. It's sitting at the USPS until I return. Not sure when exactly because I'm stuck in Canada with a van breakdown.

@mountaindave Such is the life of a rock star.
My son is on a shoestring tour out west with his band, the Rubs. I get the occasional text message about progress. So far no, "Dad, we've broken down in Crescent City and need some cash for repairs." Knock on wood.
We now return you to your regularly scheduled programming.

mountaindave: okay, I understand now - the box is waiting for you to pick up when you get back. Gotcha
We're caught up for now. Also, anyone who has received the box and then passed it along, if you want to be re-added to the queue again, either hit me up via PM or make your request here on the thread and I'll hook you up.
Btw, for anyone interested, I finally sold a bike today via Craigslist. That was a first N-1 for this guy. The blue 1978 Colnago Super went to a guy I got to meet and ride with this afternoon, same age, Cat 5 rider with modern crabon but wanted a vintage rig that was nice but not too nice not to ride. The Colnago fit the bill and we both went away happy!
