Box O' Crap game take 4 (that's right - 4)
#2127
Pedalin' Erry Day
Box arrived here on Thursday but it took me a bit to go through it. As far as the next destination goes, Mikeybikes is next in line but hasn't been active on the forums since November. If Monday rolls around and there's still no response from him I'll ship the box off to Smontanaro, assuming nobody has any objections.
Not so much in the box I wanted to keep this time, but a few things I'll use right away. Pictures:

Could that be that the rest of us left are sheep???
I look forward to receiving the box. I have a few bits to put in it. The box should arrive about the same time as my new Schwinn Volare.

The eagle has landed:
Ellen wasn't home yet, so I had a few minutes to mess around. I took a few parts.
I also put in a few parts, but I ain't tellin' what. Here's a teaser shot though.
I like the baggies. Thanks to whoever thought of that. The box looked in decent shape. I think with the existing internal bracing it should last another trip or two.
I probably won't be around the house when the P.O. is open until the weekend. If I can, I'll get it off before that, but likely not until Saturday morning.

Nice pics - and I like your alternate-use for the box, too. If it were to be around for awhile, I suppose one could use it as a doorstop or a paperweight, too!

What the heck, I'll throw my hat in the ring. I've got some stuff for the box.

Here's my haul from the BOC. I couldn't help myself when I saw "the fork" and a cottered BB. It's quite amazing (or amusing) that we have almost 23 pounds of goodies in there. Not only that, but this thing has also become a community art project with a least 4 contributors. This box is holding up quite well in it's current double box configuration, but will need replacing soon. It will be in motion tomorrow.

I have it on good faith that there might be a couple of these simplex plastic wingnuts in the boc.

Anyone want to help me overcome the minute detail ocd I am experiencing for postage of a couple of them to Washington state?

I'm second in line for the box after Afulwaffle. I understand one was just put in by a previous BOC participant. If it's still in there, it's yours.

Folks, the box has landed. She's mighty full:
Here's what I took. Really excited I found that old Maillard hub in there, the one on my commuter has some really pitted cones. Spent a good few months trying to find a matching replacement, finally just splurged on a new hub. But alas, here it is! Hopefully the cones are in good shape, haven't had a chance to pull it apart yet:
The cupholder should be a fun addition to the Bike o' Crap, which I hope to finish putting together out of as many BoC parts as possible, within the next two cycles or so. Didn't want to take too much this time, but methinks I'm close with the parts I've got on hand and what I see in the box.
I want to dig around my garage tonight and see if I can find a few more parts to put in, though I'm not 100% sure that I'll be able to fit them! Box will go out to @mountaindave by Monday at the latest. Of course, add me to the queue again!

C'mon, you're being too hard on yerself - how many times have you worked at herding cats and rebooting this project in the past? Methinks you've got at least one more pass coming your way down the road
Let me know and I'll insert you back into the rotation.
Oh, and for those that are interested in this sort of thing: the BOC celebrated its 3rd birthday on March 31st!

I still have to much crap in my garage. I couldn't fit it all in without taking a bunch out which would have defeated the purpose. I would like to be back in the queue, please.
