My first Celeste Bianchi
47 years old, been heavy into cycling for 32 years and I have never owned a Celeste Bianchi until today. I have had a number of Bianchis in the past but this color has always eluded me. I even raced and worked for Bianchi dealer, Sunshine Cycles in Hudson, IA and still no Celeste.
Bianchi Campione D'Italia circa 1995? (SN #B36436 and a white label on the under side of the down tube 31043312)
Campy Mirage 8 speed Ergo, 57CM Columbus Acciaio Cr MO, fully lugged frame superset-2, after market wheel set (Velocity Spartacus).
These are cell phone pics because my wife had the good camera at my daughters solo/ensemble competition today.

Nice looking bike, after almost 15 years working in a shop i can't count the number of Celeste Bianchi's ive worked on and every time I tell myself i'm going to get one one of these days but that day has yet to come. Congrats on the pick up, nothing looks better than a Celeste Bianchi with a bunch of Campy hanging from it.

Mine is "charcoal," which my artist wife calls "Ralph Lauren brown," but I like it anyway. My neighbor, the first owner, wanted celeste, but this was the last 55cm previous model year leftover in stock at Leucadia Cyclery.

I'm thinking not a '95 but close. My 1995 CdI has silver decals on celeste, Dedacciai tubes, an a clamp on FD. The Mirage 8 speed sounds right... wonderful bike. Enjoy many miles with that one!

From BikePedia's CdI listing, could be a late '94 frame with '95-ish components. That ITM stem seems to fit the spec...OBTW, that looks dangerously above the min insertion. I'm not an advocate of a "slammed" stem, but I'd hate to read a post of you going endo on that pretty bike.

Great looking Bianchi and nice deal. I however think someone removed the Dedacciai tubing decal from the bottom of the DT and put that CroMor decal on. However those Dedacciai tube bikes were pretty great in their own right.
