Miele's are great bikes, you see them a lot up here in Toronto. I had a lot featured on my website: www.torontovintagebikes.com

When they made road bikes they were fantastic. Even the lower end stuff was solid. Randyjawa has a Miele made by poleghi and my brother has a Miele made by Colnago.

I believe the founder was Jim Miele, who had worked as a bike builder in Italy for another company, can`t remember which one .
He then immigrated to Canada where he started his own company Miele here in Ontario.
I would compare some of his Columbus/cro-mo tubing models to Bianchi`s
Very well made

Irie build. Miele's are nice bikes, but they just lack the sexiness of other contemporaneous bikes. I don't know why that is. Maybe it is because they are so common where I live. Maybe it's just the decals... I lust after Marinonis and I dream of Mariposas, but I find mieles. What's with canadian frame makers and the letter M?

When I read the title of this thread, I didn't expect much but I got a nice surprise. That bike works, visually, for me, anyway. I already know how a many different Mieles ride and that one should put a smile on your face.

I think I have a set of Miele brake levers in decent shape. I was looking for something else, yesterday, and picked them up. Squinting through the plastic freezer bag, I could make out the Miele emblem. Then I remember I had them.

Going into The Old Shed is always an adventure.
