Chain line...

I recently swapped out my bike big time and, with the new 2005 Campy Record crank mated to the original BB, the chain line has REALLY changed. It looks like I'm 7+- mm off to the outside (I'm running a 113).
Now, here's the kicker...I really don't mind having access to the smaller cogs in the back when on my 39, but given my chainstays shortened up 2+cm with the frame swap, am I looking at any possible trouble in the future? I 'm able to get onto the big cog in back from the 39 w/o any excess noise.

I'd be a little surprised if your front derailer still works properly.

There are inexpensive replacements for the proper 102mm Campag bb.

Any bb with a JIS taper will make the spindle act 5mm longer, since the crankarm won't press on as far.

Pick up one of the Token or omni 102mm bbs off of ebay. They are pretty nice for around $40
