Schwinn "Calamari" Peloton Build

Jumping the gun and posting this because I just picked up this gem of a frame from CalamariChris.

1986 Schwinn Peoloton - Columbus tubing with a beautiful white and black pro repaint with decals.

Can't wait to dig into this build. Not sure if I can pull any strings to get something nicer but Shimano Ultegra 9 speed will have to do for now.

Busy weekend but pics to come.

She doesn't have my surname anymore. She's all yours and if she brings you half as many happy miles as she brought me... um, well then I enjoyed her twice as much as you did.
I'm getting ready to ride her sister in l'Etape in about an hour and a half.

Yes, but she does have a 'racing provenance' that can be documented.
Perhaps this adds value as a piece of amature racing history recorded in the annals of BikeForums.net!
Cat-6 here I come!
