CHEBICI 2012 new custom lugged frame

Well I am very proud of my LBS!
chebici.fi
I have seen this frame hanging in the back room for some time, This was a special order for a lucky customer. He said the parts are coming next week so I thought I would share some Eye Candy with us All. Too bad Im not into new frames.

too many nice vintage bikes to Re-Cycle!

Enjoy

Little off topic, but dayum that's a sweet ride. Do they make them in house?

Really nice looking frame there! I especially like the effort put into the lugs and the fork crown (which looks to not have any Unicrown DNA in it!). I just wish they put in DT shifter lugs instead of the cable stops as it will give the owner an option to go DT with the shifters or put in those bolt on adjustable cable stops on the lugs and go with brifters.......but I guess nobody makes friction dreailleurs anymore and this is a modern bike......

I have been admiring that frame for a few months, I love the web between the chainstays

this is a made to order bike- this is how this customer wanted it.
It is a really small frame but the workmanship is spot on.
most of the orders are for Aluminum,

I just had to share the pics before the bike was delivered.

Sombody in the bike mechanic page made comment somewhere about car painters not as good as "cycle paint specialists"
well My bike is up the road at the same painter as this bike-and he makes his living painting cars-every day!

I actually spent more time looking at the stuff lying around the shop.

The bike is awesome, but I saw the skateboard and just started looking around.

Pretty frameset!

Building an older orange Steve Rex for a friend tonight.

Slam dunk color similarities.

oh I should have pointed the camera in the other directions!

the place is full of merkx, olmo,masi,raleigh...file cabinets of old bits...
the owner has had this place for 25 years, hallway is full of pictures and trophys.
in the back is the old stuff-thats where it is cool to hang out.
He claims to sell 2000 new bikes a year-now that is not only handmade bikes.
