Need Help to Identify Raleigh Frame

I have just purchased a vintage Raleigh frame and I am having trouble identifying it. The height is 21.5'' and the serial number is on the bottom bracket, it's a 7 digit number like this: 285####. The bike has been spray painted but the original paint shows through and looks like bronze-green (which is also what the seller said it was before spray painting it blue)

I researched sheldonbrown.com and couldn't find a 7 digit serial # on bottom bracket. I searched through the catalogs and the only possible bikes I think it could be are a 1968 Grand Prix or a 1968 Super Course, but these bikes are supposed to have letters in the serial #, which mine does not!

Anyone know what this bike could actually be? Thanks in advance

Grand Prix . Look on the left rear dropout , or Kurt's website .
Serial number may have been on the Crank Axle .

My 71' Gran Prix, had chrome on the bottom half of the fork, not sure about the earlier ones...might be hiding under that paint.

Ok I'll look out for that, I figured I won't know how old it really is until taking off the paint.
