I put a post in the forum on May 11, 2012, 8:02 P.M. looking for information on my MASTERCRAFT bike. I appreciate all of the people that viewed it, but nobody had any information. Can anybody suggest some other place I may be able to get some information?

Sorry you drew a blank on your prior post, geoboy -
Probably you will find many knowledgeable people on classic cruisers at the cabe.

I assume you googled the brand. A brand that does not show up on google invariably ends up being a private label bike. If it is from the 1970s or earlier, almost all the private label stuff was bottom end, sold by sporting goods stores, department stores, tire shops, just about any store you can think of.

The private label stuff from the 1980s or newer tended to be pretty good, stuff sold by bike shops. Nashbar and Performance bike had some really nice private labeled bikes as examples.

Well, did a quick search and the only thing I found was probably your posting of a woman's cruiser, much older than the periods I mention above. I don't have any knowledge on cruisers, nor bikes from that era. The cabe is a good place to start.

Maybe yours is a private label bike made for the "May Company" department stores. I do not know. Private label bikes were manufactured by a myriad of bike companies. So if that is the case, your bike will resemble bikes from other brands.

Another source might be oldroads.com. They have a decent forum for off beat brands.
