Louison Bobet Randonneur Mixte
One of my more unusual and exciting finds!
This morning when I left the house, I decided to add some money to my wallet. I'm glad I did. I haven't done much research yet, but I thought I would share the pictures. The wheels are 650.
The photographs should do most of the talking:

Nice snag, Bikeman.
Not too many of those to be found this side of the Left Bank, and I love the curve of those bars. (Ooh-la-la!)
(PS - Please tell me that post isn't stuck!)

Thanks Aaron!
Thank Redneck! Unfortunately, my weekends are extremely busy! I'm not even aware of the event, but I'll check into it.
I can't say I know very much about the bike, but when I get a chance, I'll give a report on the seatpost. Right now, it is my biggest concern.

I gave the bike a minor cleaning and replaced the photographs with better ones. They can be seen in the opening posts.
Based on the little information that I found and Huret Allvit rear derailleur on the bike, the bike likely dates back to the early 1960's. The bike was an entry level touring bike.
I do like the brake levers!

Hm, looks like the very same bike I just noticed on Ann Arbor Craigslist! Looks like an interesting machine. Were you ever able to take it for a ride?

Super cool! Entry level bikes just don't get cooler than that - the French sure had that figured out. Congrats, and enjoy!

Really cool bike! Love the decals.
Btw, as you're probably already aware, it looks like the fender/front rack is not installed correctly. The tab from the front fender should be mounted behind the fork, which will bring the front rack closer to level.
